Designer's world

The project started with the query: What does the industry hold for us as budding designers about to step out to make a mark? What are the various aspects of getting furniture from the materials stage to the end? And what interventions may we, as designers and system thinkers, bring about to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders? Over the next 10 weeks, these are the queries we set out to resolve by taking a holistic system-wide view of the industry we would soon be setting foot in. The gigamap is one of the final culminations of the entire process.
